The Canara Bank is a Leading Public Sector Bank invites Online Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for admissions to the specially designed One year training course named Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) either through Manipal Global Education Services Private Limited, Bengaluru OR NITTE Education International Private Limited, Mangaluru.
After successful completion of Canara Bank PGDBF 2018-19, the candidates will be placed as Probationary Officers (PO) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I for filling up total 450 Vacancies in current selection exercise for Financial Year 2018-19. Age Limit: 20 to 30 Years. i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1988 and not later than 01.01.1998 (both days inclusive). The Upper Age Relaxation – 05 Years for SC / ST, 10 Years for PWD, 03 Years for OBC (NCL) and others as per Rules.

Educational Qualification (As on 1st January 2018): Any Graduate Degree in any discipline with a Minimum of 60% Marks for General / OBC, 55% Marks for SC / ST /PWBD for all Semesters or equivalent Grade. The degree completed from a University / Institute recognized by the Central Government or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Govt. of India.
Other Qualifications:
(1) Computer Knowledge: Basic Computer Literacy of Operation and Working Knowledge in Computer Systems. The qualification is essential, the selected candidate must either possess or acquire the computer knowledge within 06 Months from the date of Joining in PO position in Bank.
(2) Hindi Knowledge: Hindi Language should be required as Working level. The candidates is not possessed already, the selected candidates will poses before completion of probationary period.
About PGDBF: The course duration was 01 Year – 09 Months for Classroom Studies and 03 Months for Internship at any Canara Bank’s Branches or Offices.
The PGDBF Course will be conducted by Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru campus and NITTE Education International Pvt Ltd. Mangaluru campus.
