Career counselling programme for SSC passed students held

Hyderabad: Career Counselling programme for SSC passed students was jointly organised by Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Siasat Daily, at Abid Ali Khan Eye Hospital, Darushifa. Mr Iftekhar Husain Secretary Faiz-e-Aam Trust informed that last year 72 students were provided educational aid through scholarships which bore fruits. Intelligent students who could not afford education were able to continue their studies thanks to the scholarships provided. All scholarship holders passed in merit.

During the programme, Dr Makhdoom Ali Khan threw light on the medical and para-medical courses. Mr Shaukat Ali Mirza distributed career charts of general courses and career planning among the students.

Career counsellor M A Hameed informed the students about the new changes in educational scenario. He said today entrance exams are held on computers instead of pen and paper.

Ms Soha explained the psychological aspects. Group counselling was done for every student at the end of the programme.
