Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley to reunite again for 50th CMA Awards

Washington : Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are all set to be back for the ninth time to host CMA Awards’ 50th anniversary.

43-year-old Paisley and 33-year-old Underwood took to their respective social media handles to announce the news, E! Online reports.

The ‘Whiskey Lullaby’ hit-maker wrote on his Facebook, “Last year, they let me pull my pants down on national TV. I wonder what they will let me do this year.”

Underwood took to her Instagram and posted a pic, writing, “So excited I am returning to host The 50th Annual CMA Awards w/ @BradPaisley Nov 2 on @abcnetwork! #CMAawards50.”

In a statement, the ‘Blown Away’ hit-maker said that she really enjoys hosting the CMA awards with Paisley, adding that along with all the fun, they also have the responsibility of honouring the best artists.

“And this year, the bar will be even higher as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the CMA Awards. I can’t wait,” she said.

The country stars will co-host the musical night live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November. 2. (ANI)
