Casino mogul Steve Wynn resigns over sexual harassment claims

Las Vegas: Steve Wynn has resigned as the CEO of Wynn Resorts after various sexual harassment claims.

The casino mogul informed of the immediate effect of the resignation from Tuesday.

According to Page Six, there were numerous cases of harassment and assault against Wynn, one of which led to a USD 7.5 million settlements.

The billionaire attributed the whole fiasco to a campaign by his ex-wife and vehemently denied the allegations.

The board of Wynn Resorts has appointed Matt Maddox, the current president of the organisation, as its new CEO immediately.

Wynn is also facing gambling investigations by regulators in two states of the country. (ANI)
