CBI to organise 3-day Art of Living workshop to ‘enhance positivity’

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is organising a three-day Art of Living workshop here beginning tomorrow, to “enhance positivity and motivate the staff to achieve their full potential”.

Over 150 officials, from the ranks of Inspector up to Incharge Director, will attend the programme. This comes in the midst of internal fighting between top officials of the probe agency.

The purpose of conducting such a programme is “to build synergy, competency and positive outlook”, according to press statement of the CBI.

“The purpose of the workshop is to improve positivity, enhance synergy and generate a healthy atmosphere in the agency and to motivate the staff to achieve their full potential,” it added.

Earlier in the day, CBI Director Alok Verma appeared before the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) KV Chowdary in connection with the investigation into the corruption charges leveled against him by his deputy and Special Director Rakesh Asthana.

The Supreme Court had on October 26 asked the CVC to examine corruption charges against Verma and submit its report in two weeks.
