Centre not paying a rupee for Pension Scheme: KTR

Hyderabad: TRS working president and former minister K Tarakarama Rao today fumed that the Opposition parties were making baseless allegations against the State government.

Launching TRS party membership drive in his Siricilla Assembly segment, KTR alleged that the Centre was not giving a single rupee for Pension Scheme in Telangana State. Yet, the BJP was claiming that the NDA regime was giving funds to the State for the Pensions scheme, he charged. The TRS leaders in the districts and mandals will be trained on how the welfares schemes are being implemented to benefit people.

KTR also slammed the Opposition parties for alleging that the State government was wasting public money on Kaleshwaram project. “The project is for better future as it aims to irrigate about 45 lakh acres, providing drinking waters and meeting industrial needs”, he said.

“I offer my one month salary to the TRS to build district party offices by next Dasara festival to give confidence to people and serve them better at all levels. We have supplied 60 lakhs of books for membership in all districts and the party local leaders should make efforts”, he said. KTR asked the leaders to work for party victory in the municipal polls to be held in July. Active members will get identity cards and committees will be formed at booth, village and mandals by July 20. Though July 25 is deadline, membership has to be completed by July 10, he added. The members of the party have to give details like Aadhar, nominee, phone and others to get information on time.
