Centre not releasing funds for police Command Control Centre: Nayani

Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy today informed the Legislative Council that the Centre was not releasing funds for the construction of Command Control Centre (CCS).

Replying to questions raised by members on the issue, the Home Minister said Command Control Centre (CCS) was important as it plays a major role in effective functioning of police system in the country. Stating that development could be possible only if law and order was maintained, Nayani said the State government has allocated Rs 100 crore for the State police. The State government would construct SP offices in every new district and two new police training centers would be set up to improve police skills further, he announced. (NSS)
