Centre will help reopen AP Rayons: Dattatreya

The Centre will help reopen AP Rayons factory in Warangal, Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreyas has said. He told reporters here that the Centre is ready to extend necessary financial help to reopen this factory which was closed for a few years now.

‘Certainly we have to open the Rayons factory to get back to its past glory of production and giving employment to people’ he remarked. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also assured of cooperation for the reopening of this factory, Dattatreya stated. ‘We are for protection of labour interests and will take necessary steps. The state government is ready for a grand restart and we will offer help’, the union labour minister said.

Dattatreya also stated that his ministry will fund Rs 400 crore to Rs 500 crore to set up a super specialty ESI Hospital at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Local MP of the BJP, K Haribabu also discussed on the matter, he said. The new ESI hospital will prove handy for the working class in the state for which the state government agreed to allot required land, Dattatreya said. When asked, he said that the NDA allies of the BJP and the Telugu Desam will take on the TRS in the civic polls. ‘Indeed, we have equal strength in the twin cities to fight the civic polls’, he said. On poll alliance, they will meet again and then will field the winning candidates, Dattatreya said. He also claimed success of Nizam College’s public meeting addressed by the leaders of two parties on Tuesday. He exuded confidence that the BJP-TD combine will get adequate seats to clinch powering GHMC.(NSS)
