Chada ridicules conduct of World Telugu meet

CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today accused the organizers of World Telugu Conference of insulting Separate Telangana movement activists like Gaddar and Vimalakka.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Chada alleged that the organizers have insulted leaders of Opposition parties by not inviting them to the global conference. Alleging that the World Telugu Conference was being conducted like TRS “Maha Sabhas”, the CPI leader demanded that the State government run the governance in Telugu language.

Venkat Reddy also demanded that the State government immediate steps to resolve the Adivasi- Lambada crisis. Demanding that the State government take up categorization of SC reservations, Chada asked why the government failed to convene an all-party meeting when MRPS activist Bharathi died during MRPS dharna. He also demanded that the TRS government release all MRPS leaders, who were arrested on Monday unconditionally and withdraw cases foisted against them. (NSS)
