Hyderabad: The juvenile, accused of killing Chandni Jain, was produced before the juvenile justice board on Wednesday evening. Following which he was sent to 14 days judicial remand to Juvenile Home at Sangareddy.

TOI has quoted Ameenpur CI A Ram Reddy as saying “We have also moved a petition before the Sangareddy court seeking five days custody of the juvenile offender as we are yet to recover Chandni’s cell phone which the offender claimed to have dumped in a pond near the crime scene.”

It must be recalled that a Class 12 student was murdered allegedly by her 17-year-old lover and her highly decomposed body was found on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Tuesday. The boy was arrested by Ameenpur police.
