Chandrababu’s Deeksha a fake one: CPM Madhu

CPM senior leader P Madhu has alleged that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s deeksha was a fake one. Chandrababu Naidu government watered down the special status slogan by joining hands with the centre, he remarked and reminded that Chandrababu government had suppressed the movements and bandhs for special status with the help of police in the last four years. TDP government also threatened the youth in the name of PD Act when they come on to the roads for the sake of special status.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Madhu reminded Chandrababu’s statement that special status would not come with bandhs and more so the people would face troubles when the opposition parties observed bandh on April 16. “Chandrababu Naidu said in the past that there was no need of special status but the same Chandrababu is demanding for special status. Chandrababu, who said there was no need of moving no confidence motion, moved no-confidence motion in the Parliament. The TDP activists only participated in Chandrababu’s Dharma Deeksha and there was no peoples’ support to the Deeksha”, he ridiculed.

Stating that there should be a resolution on special status to Andhra Pradesh state in the ongoing CPM’s 22nd national conferences, Madhu said that they will announce future course of action plan for special status on April 24. He made it clear that they will observe Black Day on the same day.

Reacting on Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan’s tweets on Chandrababu Naidu, Madhu said that the tweets were 100 percent correct. (NSS)
