Chandraiah Yadav of Suraram jailed under PD Act

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, has ordered detention under Prevention of Detention Act against notorious land grabber Pothuraju Ramchandrudu alias Chandraiah Yadav, 53, residing at Venkatram Nagar in Suraram village under Quthbullapur Mandal of Malkajgiri Medchal district.

According to the police, the accused committed cheating by creating forged and fictitious documents and replaced them in Book-I Volume 440 of S.R.O Medchal duly removing the original mortgaged deeds with the connivance of the concerned employees of the Sub-Registrar’s office, Medchal and was threatening the original owners to settle the matter with an intention to grab their properties in the police station limits of Bachupally, Dundigal and Medchal under Cyberabad Commissionerate limits.

The offender was involved in five cases of cheating and forgery of documents in the police station limits of Bachupally, Dundigal and Medchal habitually indulging in similar offences in an organized fashion one after the other, which are detrimental to public order apart from disturbing the peace, tranquility, social harmony in the society. His illegal acts have been prejudicial to the maintenance of public order and unless they are kept out of the society by detaining them in the prison under the PD Act and to prevent them to commit such offences in future.
