New Delhi: Charges have been framed by Delhi High Court on Wednesday against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan for allegedly abetting the kidnapping of 15 child labourers when they were being rescued from weaving units here in 2010.
Earlier Amanatullah and Saifullah Siddiqui appeared before Court and claimed themselves to be innocent. The court has framed charges against them for kidnapping and threatening to kill. Both were earlier acquitted by in May but their acquittal was challenged in the court.
The matter is listed for December 14 for commencing the trial by recording evidence.
