Washington D.C. [USA], Dec 17 (ANI): Actor-model Charlotte Rampling will be honoured with a lifetime achievement Golden Bear at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival.

The 69th Berlin International Film Festival, in her honour, will screen a selection of the actress’ best-known films, including Luchino Visconti’s ‘The Damned’ (1969), Ozon’s ‘Swimming Pool’ and ‘Under the Sand’ (2000), Woody Allen’s ‘Stardust Memories’ (1980) and ‘The Verdict’ (1982) from director Sidney Lumet, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.

The honorary Golden Bear will be presented to the veteran on February 14 at a ceremony featuring a showing of Liliana Cavani’s “The Night Porter” (1974).

The Oscar-nominated actress, who has worked in over 100 film and television projects, won the festival’s Silver Bear prize for best actress in 2015 for her performance in Andrew Haigh’s ’45 Years’ and European Film Award for best actress for Francois Ozon’s ‘Swimming Pool’ in 2003.
