NEW DELHI: BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya in a near-abusive remark has attacked Congress president Rahul Gandhi and insulted Sonia Gandhi saying “a foreign woman’s offspring can never think of national interest”.
The party leader in a cryptic tweet which has since been taken down said, “A child born from a foreign woman can never be patriotic, nor have national interests at heart,” hashtagged #SaturdayMotivation.
Sonia Gandhi had been taunted for her Italian origins but she has long proclaimed India as her “true country”.

This is not the first time the senior BJP leader has courted controversy through his comments. He has not apologised yet for making the shocking comments about Gandhi.
