Chris Hemsworth to star in ‘Dhaka’

Washington: Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is all set to star in action-thriller ‘Dhaka’ that also marks the directorial debut of Sam Hargrave.

Written by Anthony Russo and Joseph Joe Russo, collectively known as the Russo brothers, the story of the film revolves around a mercenary named Rake, played by Hemsworth who is hired to save the son of a businessman.

The movie will go on floors in November and will continue till March 2019 in locales in India and Indonesia, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Hemsworth reprised his role as Thor in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ released in November last year and again in both the third Avengers film, ‘Avengers: Infinity Wars'(2018), and its untitled sequel, scheduled for 2019 release.

He was originally going to reprise his role as George Kirk in the fourth film of the rebooted Star Trek series, but he left the project in August 2018 after contract negotiations fell through.
