The State Government has taken up the prestigious program of plantation under Haritha Garam from July. The Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department is participating in this program in a big way and planted five lakh saplings at various places under its control.
Finance & Civil Supplies Minister Etela Rajender will participate in the Haritha Haram program in the office of the Controller, Legal Metrology, Hyderabad and at MLS Point, Shadnagar, Muhbubnagar District on July 15. In this connection, the Finance Minister waned to observe July 15 as Civil Supplies Department Focus Day.
The plantation program will be taken up in the selected areas by the in-charges of MLS Points, Buffer Godowns, all trading and parboiled rice millers, Weigh bridge management, supermarkets, LPG Dealers, MS/ HSD dealers. It was planning to plant at least two lakh saplings in July throughout the State.
All people’s representatives, consumer clubs, CVOs and in-charges of District Consumer Information Centre will also participate in the program.
All the officials of Civil Supplies Department, Legal Metrology Department, Consumer Affairs and Civil Supplies Corporation will also participate in the program on July 15. (NSS)
