Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A Class III student drowned in an open drain pit in Asifabad district today.
The deceased identified as Gomasi Vignesh was on his way to relieve himself but unfortunately fell into Kumram Bheem Asifabad pit at Bogadaguda area in KB Asifabad’s Salugupalli village, TT reports.
The deceased was on eight-year-old and was a student of a government school at Bogadaguda. He was a native of Lambadaguda in Salugupalli.
It was when other student saw him floating, they rushed to inform the school’s headmaster.
Police rushed to the spot and brought out the body. A case of suspicious death was registered.
