Cloudy Wednesday morning in Delhi

New Delhi: It was a cloudy morning here on Wednesday with scattered showers at a few places. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, the season’s average, according to the weather office.

“The sky will be generally cloudy. There is possibility of light rains or thundershowers in the National Capital Region,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The Safdarjung Observatory recorded 3.9 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours since Tuesday, while Palam registered 23.7 mm.

The humidity at 8.30. a.m. was recorded at 86 per cent.

The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday’s maximum temperature settled at 33.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.
