Alleging that the State government was forming Rythu Samanvaya Samithis with TRS activists, the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has said it would fight against it in the court.
Speaking at Assembly Media Hall on Wednesday along with MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, CLP office secretary T Rammohan Reddy said the State government issued several statements on Land Records Purification and Jangaon Collector cancelled registration of encroachment of land by MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy. In Parigi, TRS leader Harishwar Reddy encroached upon temple land and registered illegally on his son Anil Reddy’s name. He called upon Congress activists to file applications against TRS leaders, who encroached upon government lands across the State.
Demanding that the State government render justice to Sircilla Dalits, he found fault with the government for not allowing former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to visit Sircilla town. He also demanded that the State government hold discussion on CPS pension system and implement the pension system the employees were demanding.
Stating that the TRS government came to power with the slogan of giving one lakh jobs to youth, the Congress leader demanded that the make an announcement on employment policy. He also said the CLP would not accept the proposal of the government to construct a new secretariat at Bison Polo grounds in Secunderabad. He asked the government to release a white paper on the investment and the burden on the people. He said the government dropping fish seed in tanks was only 25 percent. He wanted the government to set up a corporation on gulf victims’ problems, appoint a tribunal on farmers’ suicides and so on.
Exhorting the Singareni workers to cast their vote against the government, Rammohan Reddy said the government was indulging in unprecedented campaign in the union election. The CLP leader demanded that the government scrap cases against the women with regard to Bathukamma saris.
Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy demanded that the government initiate action against the TRS leaders who attacked Illendu municipal commissioner. The CLP also condemned the attacks on five women collectors by local public representatives. Asking the government to protect law and order, Ponguleti said that the CLP found fault with the setting up of Rythu Samanvaya Samithis, which will destroy the Panchayat Raj law. He said that the RSS were looking like booth committees. He said that he will pull the government in Council and Bhatti Vikramarka will pull the government in Assembly on irrigation projects.
