CM announced 80 percent subsidy on self-employment schemes for Minorities

Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR told that TS is the exemplary state for implementing the welfare schemes for Minorities. It has provided Rs. 2000 crore in the budget for Minorities welfare. It established 206 residential schools for them. Youths belonging to Minorities are being given loans to the tune of Rs. 2-10 lakh with a subsidy of 80%.

Govt. of Telangana has also decided to set up an IT park for Minorities and Islamic Convention Center with the allocation of Rs. 40 crore. For the said center, 10 acre land has been earmarked at Kokapet.

CM also told that 2.72 two BHK flats are being constructed for poor persons. A sum of Rs. 35000 crore has been allocated for the development of Old City.

He announced all these schemes while addressing a function organized at Golconda Fort in connection with Independence Day Celebrations.

He mentioned that a plan has been prepared for the construction of Satellite Township around Hyderabad. Central Govt. has approved a scheme for the construction of Regional Ring Road for 330 km.

Mr. KCR pointed out that PM Modi has also applauded the developmental works of the State.

In his speech, Mr. KCR mentioned that Rs. 1500 is being paid as honoraria to the Imams of Masajid. On the occasion of Ramadan and Christmas, garments are being distributed to poor Muslims and Christians. Iftaar is being arranged in masajid and Christmas dinner in churches.
