Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has congratulated Ms Aishwarya Boddapati, Lt Commander in Indian Navy, a native of Telangana, on her being selected for the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award 2017 by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
The Chief Minister described that it as an honour to the State and wished Ms Aishwarya all the best and hoped that she would get more such awards in future. Lt Commander Aishwarya earlier was awarded the Nari Shakti Award and Nao Sena Award and now this Award.
In a letter to Lt Commander Aishwarya, Director, Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, said the Award presentation ceremony will be held at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi, on September 25 and requested her to receive the Award.
