Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is to take a call on 21 per cent Interim relief demand by RTC TMU leaders to call off strike followed by discussions. Entire Cabinet including Deputy Chief Minister, K Srihari, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Finance Minister E Rajender, IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Transport Minister Mahender, Reddy, Roads and Buildings Minister T Nageshwar Rao and Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy today discussed with TMU leaders and asked them to put off the strike on June 11.
They held discussion at Ministers quarters and earn more revenue against the losses being incurred. The ministers took up the demand of 21 per cent IR (interim relief) to KCR Later, KCR discussed the issue with the officials concerned. In the wake of strong warning by the chief minister, the TMU leaders have came down a step and reportedly urged for 21 per cent interim relief to call off the strike if not 50 per cent as they sought. KCR is yet to take a decision which is expected after the meeting that went on for hours. The government has warned of using ESMA against the employees for strike and cancelling the jobs of those attend the stir besides closing down the corporation.
