Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today congratulated Tennis Ace Sania Mirza for winning Australian Women’s Doubles Title along with Martina Hingis.
In an official communiqué on Friday, the Chief Minister stated, “Sania achieved an unprecedented victory at the World level by winning Grand Slam for third consecutive time and won 36 matches consecutively is a great thing”. KCR further wished the Tennis Ace achieve many such goals and bring laurels to the State as well as the country.
In another pressnote, KCR also appreciated Hyderabadi Star Cricketer Mithali Raj for conquering Australia T-20 series. “It is great that the Indian team, led by Mithali Raj, won against Australia,” the Chief Minister noted. He said such victories in sports by women at international level will inspire all girls. (NSS)
