CM lays stone for Yadav Bhavans at Kokapet

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today said Yadavas (Golla and Kurumas) in Telangana State will become rich soon and show direction to India to make rapid development with persistent efforts.

Laying foundation stone for Golla and Kuruma welfare bhavans and hostel at Kokapet along with ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Jogu Ramanna, Mahender Reddy and others, the Chief Minister wooed the Yadavas that they would get all support from the government.

Addressing a public meeting later, KCR said the TRS Government was making efforts for allround development and no community or caste should be deprived of food and work for livelihood. He praised Srinivas Yadav for his brainchild to press in 100 mobile vans for providing health services to animals and Finance Minister Rajender for supplying fine rice to the hostel students. “We got statehood to distribute wealth among all the poor and deprived classes with viable schemes and development programs”, he averred. “We are lagging behind due to lack of unity and it is time to fight together to get the fruits of labour”, the Chief Minister said.

KCR said Sheep scheme was meant for developing Yadavas as it will check the transport of 650 lorries of sheep and goats to Telangana, including 350 lorries to Hyderabad alone and about 25 fish lorries to Ramnagar market. The scheme, he said, will prove handy for the 30-odd lakh Yadavas in the State and the government was committed for their development.

“I asked Sriinivas Yadav to make a foreign tour to study meat process units in Telangana to improve exports and the government will give subsidy to Yadavs from BC Welfare department”, he said. “We have directed the Collectors to allow sheep to graze at 12 lakh fruit gardens in the State”, he said, adding that sheep were distributed to 7.61 lakh Yadavas.

Reacting to news reports that some Yadavas were selling sheep to make money against norms, KCR asked them to stop it. He also said 35 lakh sheep gave birth to 13 lakh sheep totaling 48 lakh in the State and the Yadavas will create a record by becoming rich in three to four years in the country.
