Alleging that the State government was not obstructing the illegal sand transportation, former MP and TPCC Vice-President Ponnam Prabhakar has said Chief Secretary SP Singh was not responding to the complaints though the Congress submitted a memorandum to him in this regard.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Ponnam Prabhakar alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s relatives in Karimnagar district were indulging in illegal sand mining. He alleged there was no action against the culprits. The State government has failed to order a vigilance inquiry into the illegal sand transportation problem in Karimnagar district, he claimed. (NSS)
