A woman working in a multinational company (MNC) in Dwarka under west Delhi was gang-raped allegedly by two of her colleagues named Birju (25), and his associate Vinod Kumar (31) late on Saturday night.
The accused have been identified and arrested, according to the girl they had offered her a lift in their car after office hours on Saturday evening.
The accused offered her a soft drink during the journey which was laced with sedatives and after drinking it, she became unconscious.
An official of Dwarka north police station said, the victim was taken to a flat in an unconscious state where they took turns to rape her and after committing the crime, the accused dropped the victim near her home at the Vasant Kunj area.
He further added “we have conducted a medical examination of the victim which confirms rape. The accused have been arrested from their houses.”
The victim anyhow made her way to her home and revealed her ordeal to her family. She lodged a complaint against the accused on the very next day.
