Collective efforts to retain 1st position in EODB on: KTR

Industries and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said Telangana was making rapid strides in every sector and proved No 1 in Ease Of Doing Business (EODB).

Speaking at a workshop at Haritha Plaza on the EODB, KTR stated that the State government has pushed in 372 reforms this year alone. “We have created a conducive environment for doing business very easily in the State by providing all permissions in a hassle-free manner. To revive the sick units of industries, the government has set up Industrial Health Clinics, he said, adding that it is the challenge to retain the top position we got in EODB and collective efforts will prove handy.

KTR said the State government has brought to the notice of the Centre about the GST burden on various sectors. He also maintained that ASSOCHAM report has revealed about how the youngest State of Telangana was doing well in industries sector and attracting business of International repute and national to rope in and expand. Even Union Minister Suresh Prabhu also appreciated the Telangana as the most progressive and dynamic State, he said.

Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao used to say the local industrialists are brand ambassadors, KTR asked businessmen on increasing productivity and offering employment to local talent. The Government will also extend all support to the business and industries in the State, who should compete with the industries of world, he said. (NSS)
