The Osmania University has constituted a committee to inquire into the fire mishap at the spot valuation center and to assess the extent of damage and submit a report in two days.
The mishap took place in the early hours of this morning. The Fire Services team of Tarnaka rushed to the spot and doused the fire in time. The University officials swung into action and made concerted efforts to avert a major fire. The University security team and OU Police were also present at the spot. The fire reportedly broke out due to short-circuit and partially damaged a few scripts. (NSS)
