Mumbai: In a press conference Conducted by CBS Education Pvt. Ltd (Mumbai Region), the Master Franchisee of UCMAS for State of Maharashtra where kids between the age group of 6-13yrs performed complex mathematical calculations using Abacus. There was live presentation of capability of brain vs. computer or calculator. This was done to increase awareness about importance of Abacus to start at early age.
The highlight of the conference was Muskan Tekchandani a 6 years old who calculated some complex equations for her age in fraction of seconds and shows how sharp Abacus makes your kids’ mind.
Sahil Shah (18 years old) a student told that his strong Abacus foundation helped him to secure All India 3rd Rank in ICSE exam. He got All India Rank 21st and 2nd in Maharashtra in IIT Advance Exam 2016, and was in top 25 in the Indian National Astronomy Olympiads and is KVPY Scholar.
Another student Rahul Jain from IIT Roorkee resonated Sahil’s views and told that Abacus helped him throughout his education and in many competitive exams such Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik, MTS, IPMS, NTS etc. This has helped him to increase his aptitude and attitude success and also in the feather of UCMAS success story is Satwat Jagwani (20yrs) is all India topper in IIT (JEE) Advance 2015.
Gautamraj Dadlani encouraged these valuable words, who is currently working with Nakel’s India Pvt Ltd in R &D department. HE learnt Abacus at early age and achieve 2nd rank in Maharashtra and 5th rank in All India on highest levels of UCMAS.
Three directors of the organisation Mr. CD Mishra, Mr. Bhanu Rajput and Mr. Sanjay Bhoir- were present in the seminar along with many bright students who are live success stories of this calculation system-ABACUS.
Addressing to the conference Mr. Mishra said that CBSE has successfully changed many lives with ABACUS training. “By learning to perform brain calculations raoidly and accurately, students expand their mental capacity and develop skills such as time management, multitasking, concentration and problem solving. Many of our students have shown these outstanding abilities very early on,”
