LUCKNOW: Dr Kafeel Khan’s brother Kashif Jameel was referred to Lucknow’s King George Medical University after his condition deteriorated in the wee hours on Tuesday.
He was shot at on late Sunday night by two unidentified bike-borne assailants when he was on his way to home in the Humayunpur north area near JP Hospital sustained bullet injuries on his right upper arm, neck and chin.

He underwent surgery at a private hospital in Gorakhpur and the bullets were removed.
35-year-old Kashif is an engineer by profession, and married just a year ago.
It may be mentioned that recently, Dr. Kafeel Khan was released on bail from jail. He was earlier arrested in the case of children’s death at Gorakhpur Govt. Hospital.
