The police said Mohd Rasheed Ali induced Syed Anees Hyder Rizvi and Harish Kumar Raney and obtained a hand loan of Rs 91 lakh from them with his deceitful words and made them believe that his movable and immovable properties were seized by the Income Tax Department and for releasing them, he needed money. He also promised them that he would return their amounts as early as possible. But, the accused failed to return their respective amounts. The accused had shown fake and fabricated documents pertaining to seizure of his property by the Income Tax Department prior to obtaining loan from the duo. Earlier also, Mohd. Rasheed Ali was arrested by the CCS police in 2007 for violation of Passport Act for obtaining passports and arranging Visas to USA and so on..
