Cong launches campaign against Centre in HP

Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh Congress today launched campaign over the alleged failures of the Narendra Modi dispensation and passed five resolutions against the Centre and the state government.

In a one-day convention of the party in Mandi, state Congress chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu said that the party would reach out to the people at the grass root and the campaign would continue till the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
The event was attended by MLAs, former ministers and other senior leaders.

However, former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, his son Vikramaditya Singh and their supporters were not present.
Leaders at the convention alleged that the Modi government had failed to bring back black money and deposit Rs 15 lakh in bank accounts.

Congress leaders also attacked the Centre on the PNB fraud.

Similarly, the promise to giving 2-crore jobs remains unfulfilled, they said.
Members of the convention alleged that atrocities are being committed on Dalits and employees and the crime graph had gone up in Himachal Pradesh.
