Congress Adivasi MLAs meet CM, plead for solution to their problems

Hyderabad: A delegation of Congress Adivasi MLAs, including Rega Kantha Rao, Atram Sakku, Seethakka, Podam Veeraiah today called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the Pragathi Bhavan and pleaded with him to take an initiative to solve their long-pending problems and Podu lands.

After a patient hearing, the Chief Minister assured the Adivasi legislators that he would meet them in the first week of February and make efforts to solve their grievances. During the meeting, Mulugu MLA Dhanasari Anasuya alias Seethakka profusely thanked the Chief Minister for carving out Mulug District for decentralization of administration and welfare of the tribal population.

It may be mentioned here that recently the Sangareddy Congress MLA Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy popularly known as Jagga Reddy had announced that he would meet Chief Minister KCR for the welfare of his constituents. He also said he would patiently wait for the Chief Minister’s appointment, he said, adding that he would felicitate KCR whenever he visited his constituency, otherwise, he would keep silent.
