Congress chief takes jab at BJP says “brightest flee the sinking ship”

New Delhi: Speculations have raised after Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian quit the BJP Finance Ministry. Taking a jab at BJP, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday in his response to the new development said the brightest were fleeing the “sinking ship” as the “invisible hand” of the RSS was steering it into rocks.

Arvind quitting as the chief economic advisor is seen as a failure on BJP’s part for allowing the RSS to sweep into the ideologies of the saffron party, News Nation reported.

The Congress Chief also said that Modi was “fast asleep” and describes the news shared by Jaitely as a crazy situation.

“The brightest flee the sinking ship, as the invisible hand of the RSS steers it onto the rocks. Meanwhile, Captain DeMo is fast asleep. It’s crazy out there!,” Gandhi had tweeted.

Rahul also questioned whether Jaitley would continue to be the Finance Minister post his surgery.

“Ex? FM is locked in his room, breaking news on Facebook. BJP treasurer has the keys to the Indian economy,” he added.
