Congress conspiracies won’t work: Harish

Telangana people are not innocent and will surely hit the conspiracies being hatched by the Congress party, Irrigation & Marketing Minister T Harish Rao said today.

Several leaders from Mahbubnagar today joined the ruling party at a program at Telangana Bhavan in the presence of Harish Rao and other leaders. Welcoming them by offering traditional pink shawls on the occasion, Harish Rao lashed out at TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy and others for carrying out misinformation campaign against the Pragathi Bhavan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Accusing the Congress leaders of failing to see the development in the State, Harish said he was ready to hold talks with Utham at Gandhi Bhavan and discuss about anything. He claimed that the TRS Goverment distributed waters to 6.50 lakh acres in Mahbubnagar district that was dumped by the previous Congress regime. Projects will be completed to irrigate all acres, protect farmers’ interests and give them Rs 4000 per acre under Rythu Bandhu scheme to avoid loan related problems, he said.

“It was only Telangana State in the country to give purified waters to the people at their households. The Congress was obstructing the development process and filed cases in the courts in the name of those who are no more”, he fumed. The people of the State are not innocent and very much aware of the nefarious designs of the Congress leaders, who were stalling growth and obstructing irrigation projects. He also lashed out at the Congress for deceiving the people of the backward Palamur districts in all sectors. The previous governments ignored its development due to lack of commitment, he charged.
