Congress dares TRS for by-elections in defected MLAs constituencies

Hyderabad: AICC State incharge RC Kuntia on Friday said that Telangana State has become a care or address for dictatorial rule. He alleged that the ruling TRS party had bought the congress party MLAs despite having clear majority in the state assembly. He also alleged that CM KCR was trying to ensure that there was no opposition party to corner him in the State.

Speaking to media persons along with TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, he also targeted the assembly speaker and the governor of the state and said that both the governor and the speaker didn’t take any action on their complaints against the defected MLAs of the party. TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy said that it was false to state that all 12 congress party MLAs joined the ruling TRS party simultaneously and added that the Mlas had joined the TRS separately. He also said that the defected Mlas against whom disqualification petitions were pending didn’t have right to submit the letter of merger of CLP. He said that the assembly speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy brought disrepute to the office of the speaker.

He said that the former CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka went to the assembly constituency of the speaker Banswada to lodge the complaint against the defected MLAs as he was scared to come to Hyderabad. He dared the TRS leaders to ask all the defected MLAs to resign from their posts and contest elections again on the TRS Party ticket. He said that the case filed by them against the defected MLAs was coming for hearing on June 11, 2019. He said that they were also gathering the details of the benefits made by the defected MLAs after joining the TRS party.
