Congress fled “ballot” field in panic: Kavita

Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP candidate K Kavitha today ridiculed that the Congress has left the battle of ballot field by throwing away sword ahead of the polls.

Talking to mediapersons at Jagitial after a road show in Nizamabad, Kavitha alleged that the Congress ran away from the battle field by forgetting the sword. The Congress and the BJP have colluded with in Nizamabad segment, she charged. Kavitha said the BJP Government at the Centre had failed to give turmeric board to Nizamabad despite many appeals.

She said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has written several letters to the Modi Government which evoked no response. “The Centre failed to keep its promises and the Congress does not enjoy the people’s support. The people should reject both of them for failing to serve people”, she appealed. The Congress and the BJP may not get beyond 100 and 150 MP seats respectively in the polls.

“The people are ready to teach them a lesson and the TRS will win all 16 MP seats it is contesting. The Modi government was telling lies against us and denied funds to our State. Though it gave national status and 90 per cent of funds for Polavaram in AP, the Modi government failed to accord similar status to one of our projects like Kaleshwaram and Palamur” the MP candidate expressed concern.

On winning the LS polls, the MPs will work in Delhi like KCR’s soldiers for the cause of the State, Kavitha said. She said Rs 900 crore works were taken up in the segment and hoped to get support of the people in the polls. Kavitha said the TRS regime will give Rs 2,000 pension and provide two-bedroom houses for the poor.
