Congress likely to come to power in Rajasthan

New Delhi: Despite hard Hindutva ideology seeping in Rajasthan state hiding in the shadows of saffron party, many Congress supporters are hopeful that Gandhi family will return back to power in the state.

The counting for the Rajasthan Assembly elections will start on December 11, 2018 but supporters have already predicted the number of votes the party will win in this elections, OneIndia reports.

According to numbers so far, former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has garnered 30,000 votes contesting from the Sardarpura Assembly constituency in Jodhpur district while a candidate from the Jodhpur city constituency has so far collected 13,000 votes. Another candidate who contested from the Sursagar constituency has won at least 7000 votes.

Though it still unclear whether Congress will come to power in Rajasthan, however, the local Congress leaders have somehow reached the number for most of the senior Congress leaders in the state.

According to Political analysts: “This is the byproduct of the Congress discussing about the possible chief ministerial candidate in the state for that matter by any political party. This gives workers of the party to rejoice and express their happiness. This also helps them politically.”
