Hubli: Yogi Adityanath, CM of Uttar Pradesh hit out at Congress for supporting Tipu Sultan.
According to the news published in TOI, Yogi Adityanath said that if Congress loses Karnataka in the next State Assembly elections, there will be no one to worship Tipu Sultan. “Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh have rejected Congress”, he added.
He further told, “They don’t worship Hanuman, they worship Tipu Sultan”, TOI reported.
While addressing at BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in Hubli, Karnataka, he appealed to the people of the State to defeat Congress Party in the next Assembly elections which are scheduled to be held in May 2018.
It may be mentioned that Congress considers Tipu Sultan as a patriot and celebrates his birth anniversary whereas BJP is against of celebrating Tipu Sultan Jayanthi.
