Alleging that there was no protection to women under TRS rule, Telangana State Congress Mahila president Nerella Sharada has demanded that the State government immediately order arrest of MLC Bhoopati Reddy’s son for committing rape.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Sharada alleged that the law and order situation worsened after Telangana State was carved out and those in power were committing heinous crimes and going scot free. She said MLC Bhoopati Reddy’s son’s rape issue was best example of lawlessness in the State. She made it clear that the Congress would stand by the hapless girl, who was raped. (NSS)
