Congress postpones Praja Chaitanya bus yatra in view of Ramadan

Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said minorities have a very important role to play in any country or state. Muslims, the largest minority, keep fast during the month of Ramadan and are busy in worship. Hence the bus yatra has been postponed till Eid.

Speaking to media here, Telangana Congress President said efforts are on to make laws on what to eat and what not to eat in the country. Minorities interests are harmed, which the Congress party strongly condemns. He claimed that only Congress party can save the country from the volatile situation. He appealed people to bring Congress party to power in the state and at the centre.

Uttam Kumar revealed that Praja Chaitanya bus yatra, which aims at exposing the failure of the government, will begin after Eid-ul Fitr.

According to sources Congress president Rahul Gandhi will address the huge public meeting in the state as part of the fourth round of the Congress bus yatra.
