Hyderabad: President of TS Congress Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy promised that a sub-plan would be allocated in the state budget in case of Congress assuming power in Assembly elections. He also promised that the entire budget allocated for Minorities would be Spent.
He appealed to the Muslims that they should teach a lesson to Mr. KCR who did not fulfill the promise of providing 12% reservation to Muslims
He gave this assurance in a meeting held at Gandhi Bhawan to finalize election manifesto. Present in the meeting were Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Mr Salim Ahmed, Mr. S.K Afzaluddin and others.
Capt. Reddy told that Congress is a pro-Minorities party and said that it is the only party which would protect the rights of the Muslims.
Capt. Reddy condemned the attitude of TRS saying that it failed to implement any scheme for the welfare of Minorities.
