Congress says Modi behind KCR’s federal front idea

Hyderabad: AICC official spokesperson M V Rajiv Gouda on Tuesday said there was no protection to the principles of secularism under Prime Minister Narendra Moid’s rule in the country. He alleged that the BJP was encouraging all right wing forces in order to create a divide among the people.

Addressing mediapersons here today, Gouda alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was behind the federal front proposal of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He also alleged that Modi was trying to help the BJP by his third front idea. He demanded that Modi reveal the status of Lokpal Bill under his regime.

Rajiv Gouda also alleged that Modi and Amit Shah duo was trying to dilute the revolutionary Right to Information Act in order to hide their corrupt practices. He also alleged that Modi had already weakened democratic institutions like CBI and RBI.

Noting that the Rafale planes were property of the people of the country, Gouda wanted to know as to why the Defence Minister remained silent on the price of the planes He alleged that PM Modi had looted the country and handed over the looted money to his friend Anil Ambani through the Rafale deal. He also alleged that the Centre had misled the Supreme Court on the Rafale issue by falsely claiming that it had apprised the CAG and PAC about the prices of Rafale planes.

“I am a PAC member and I can tell you that the Centre did not submit any report to us on the Rafale issue. The Modi government bought 36 aircraft instead of actual requirement of 126 aircraft by paying extra money to benefit Anil Ambani’s company. With this, the PM has lost moral right to continue in his post,” he said. Commenting on the meeting of KCR with his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Benarjee, Gouda said she was a great secular leader, who would work with the Congress alone and would never align with anybody.
