Congress turns Andhra Party, ridicules Jagadish

Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy today lashed out at the Congress party for turning out to be an Andhra Party instead of a national one. As the Congress had never bothered about Telangana development in the past he people taught it a fitting lesson, he said.

Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan here on Tuesday, Jagadish Reddy accused the Congress leaders from Telangana of having turned into slaves of Andhra bosses and remained mute spectators when the Andhra leaders were ignoring its development. Telangana Congress leaders had failed to question their Andhra counterparts when they were hatching conspiracies against the Telangana region, he fumed. Congress leaders like K Jana Reddy and N Utham Kumar Reddy and others failed to raise the issue of Nalgonda while it was being meted out injustice, the minister alleged.

The minister also said the Congress once again proved in Parliament that it was against Telangana and spoke about Andhra. The Congress party favours AP development but not of Telangana, he charged. Jagadish Reddy also said he never saw a foolish leader like AICC president Rahul Gandhi, who mischievously hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and winked looking at his party members in the Lok Sabha. Rahul was not speaking like a national leader and the people are wary of his loathsome childish acts, he observed. (NSS)
