Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today slammed the Congress for indulging in “foolish talk” against the State government on the projects and developmental works. The people clothed power to the TRS in Telangana, which was on fast growth trajectory, he said.

Addressing the media at the Telangana Bhavan here today, the minister ridiculed TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy for claiming that they would win 70 seats and return to power. Mocking at Utham for his uncut beard and moustaches, Talasani said the State Congress chief has no political future now. Srinivas Yadav has also challenged that the Congress would not even win seven seats this time leave alone 70 seats.
The minister said the TRS will retain power with 100 seats.

The Congress regime had made only advance payments, swindled money and forgot to complete the projects and developmental works, he fumed. Yadav also took exception to the Congress for being afraid and envious of developmental works, completion of flagship programs and irrigation projects. “It will be not easy for the Congress to get even seven seats in the next elections as the people were not ready to believe them. The people have already forgotten the Congress party while its leaders were indulging in false politics”, he alleged.

Srinivas Yadav also warned Congress leaders of stern action against for leveling baseless charges against the ruling party. The previous Congress government had failed even to provide adequate food to students in the hostels but now the TRS government was offering full meal with fine rice to the students, he said. The two-bed room housing scheme was meant for providing permanent shelter to the poor to make a better living, Yadav said. The TRS government was encouraging community professions and giving funds and subsidies. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao aims to develop Yadavas through Sheep scheme and BCs through fish scheme, he said. Reiterating Telangana stood at No. 1 place in the country in welfare schemes, the minister said all those eligible will get benefits. (NSS)
