Hyderabad: Army officials contradicted the news published in a local daily that there is a ban imposed by the Army for not constructing any building within a distance of 500 meters near Army installations. In the press note issued by the Army it has been stated no such notification was issued.
It further clarified that if any building is to be constructed near defence installations, a NOC has to be obtained from the officials. The officials of the defense department inspect the spot and issue NOC if everything is within the rules.
