Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has served notices on the GHMC and HMDA to submit details about construction activities going on under Hussain Sagar FTL limits in spite of Supreme Court directions in this regard.
The High Court acted following a PIL filed by former minister and Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy. Marri urged the High Court to direct the government not to take up constructions under Hussain Sagar lake premises. He alleged that construction activities were going on under Hussain Sagar FTL limits. He brought to the notice of High Court that there were clear directions from Supreme Court not to take up construction activities under Tanks premises. (NSS)
