Hyderabad: Police has arrested a police constable who was harassing his wife on the birth of daughters and demanding more dowry. He is also said to have made fatal attack on the wife. Yacharam police arrested 30-year-old, Salaiah associated to Madhapur traffic police.
Salaiah married to Jyoti in 2011. The couple has 3 daughters. After the birth of daughters, the constable began harassing his wife. While demanding more dowry, he was planning to perform second marriage. The day before he beat his wife and assaulted her. Neighbours informed Jyoti’s father on which his father shifted her to hospital. Ibrahimpatnam police arrested Salaiah and remanded to judicial custody.
