Nellore: after the video of a sub-inspector and a constable being thrashed inside Rapuru police station in Nellore district went viral on Wednesday night, the cops have now arrested the youngsters who assaulted the policemen.
According to the reports people barged inside the Police station and thrashed the police officer on duty, Hans reported.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Babu speaking on the incident said Sub Inspector Lakshman Rao and three other constables were assaulted by the angry people and suffered injuries and are now undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The cops have now arrested the youngsters who assaulted the policemen and shifted them to Nellore on Thursday morning.
